The 5 most spooky haunted places in the United states that may scare you

United States is the one of the top most countries in the world. The United States, is a federal republic having 50 states and 5 Major territories and also have many haunted places. This is the list of spooky haunted places  that are reported to be haunted by ghosts and also demons. From former insane asylum to the haunted battlegrounds, these are the 5 most spooky places in the United States that make you feel fear.

1.) St. Louis Cemetery, New Orleans, Louisiana:



St. Louis Cemetery No #1 is located at the northwest aide of Basin St, and a block west of N. Rampart St. This Cemetery is one of three famous  Roman Catholic Cemeteries which is opened in 1789. New Orleans architecture is redesigned after the huge fire occurred in 1788. This Cemetery is also considered as the most haunted places in the United States. This burial ground holds up to 100,000 dead bodies and also 700 tombs and it is still an active grave site used by locals. St. Louis Cemetery earned the nickname "The Cities Of Death"
Marie Laveau is the ghost which lives in this Cemetery. Marie was commonly known as Voodoo Queen, born in 1801. If you want to see Marie then you can just knock the door of Marie up to 3 times to wake her up from death.

2.) Gettysburg Battlefield, Pennsylvania:

As you know, Gettysburg battlefield is one of the top 5 spooky places in the United States. This battlefield is marked by the bloodiest battles of Civil War. This place holds up to 8000 deaths of Union and Confederate soldiers and tens of Thousand were injured during this Civil War, 1863. There have been numerous sightings of ghost soldier, battle sounds in this battlefield and even recorded evm and a video.


3.) Robert the Doll-key west, Florida:

In the late 1800's, Thomas Otto family moved to Key West, Florida. Thomas appointed a woman as a caretaker for his son, Robert. One bad day, Mrs. Otto saw her practicing black magic in their backyard and she fired her. Before she left the place, she gave Robert a Doll which stood 3ft tall with button eyes and Human hair attached to it (locals said that was Robert's hair) and filled with a straw. This doll comes to life at nights and locks the Robert's door and throw some furniture to the corner of the room. So, this place is now treated as a spooky haunted place in the United States.


4.) Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum:

Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum located in Weston WV. locals named this place ad Weston State Hospital. In mid-1800, this facility served as a sanctuary for mentally ill people. This building holds the story of Civil War raids, the curative effects of architecture, gold robbery and helps people to recover their health from mentally ill. This place is also the top haunted place in the United States.


5.) The Stanley Hotel, Estes Park, Colorado:

This  Colonial Revival Hotel consists of 140 rooms in Estes Park, Colorado located five miles away from the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. This construction is completed in 1909 by Freelan Oscar Stanley. This hotel is haunted by its own owner Freelan Stanley and his wife Flora. locals said Freelan Stanley and his wife were dressed in formal attire on the main staircase, such as the  billiard room and the lobby. Freelan has also been spotted in the administration Office.
