1.) Bhangarh Fort - Rajasthan


Bhangarh Fort is located on the borders of Sariska Tiger reserve in the Aravali range in the deserted town of Bhangarh, Rajasthan.Bhangarh Fort is the one of most famous tourist place in India and is considered as the one of the most dangerous haunted places in the world.
About the town of Bhangarh, it was established in 1573 by King Bhagwant Das who had two sons. His elder son-Man Singh, the general of Mughal Emperor Akbar and the younger one- Madho Singh. The town is named as Bhangarh by Madho Singh after his grandfather Man Singh or Bhan Singh.
     
           Story of Bhangarh Fort-Rajasthan:

There is a belief about Bhangarh that the place is haunted and no one can dare to go there after sunset. Several ghost stories are linked with the mysteries of the Bhangarh Fort, Rajasthan. King Madho Singh-Emperor of this city got approval by ascetic GURU BALU NATH who meditated at this place. The approval of emperor was given to the agreement that the "Shadow of emperor's palace would never touch him" at his prohibited retreat. If the shadow of palace touched over his place, the city would turn into ruins.After few days, the emperor started his fort construction and the shadow of fort touched the Guru Balu Nath place. As per psychic power of Saint, the entire town was destroyed. The samadhi of Guru Balu Nath is still there where he was buried.

Ratnavati was the princess of Bhangarh and was  famed for her dazzling beauty all over her kingdom and the neighboring states.This adorable princess got a matrimonial offer at the age of 18 yrs. The tantrik called Singhia, who was completely fall in love with her beauty but he knew that his match with the princess was impossible and Singhia decided to lure the princess with his magical powers.
One day Singhia saw princess's maid in the market and his thought- he'll marry the princess by using black magic to the oil that the maid purchased. So that upon touching it, the princess would surrender herself to the magician.However, the princess saw the Singhia's trick that he was enchanting the oil. The princess decided to pour the oil on the ground and when she did the oil on the ground turned into a rock and rolled towards Singhia and crushed him. Before dying, the Singhia cursed the Bhangarh city to death with no more rebirths. After the death of Singhia, the Bhangarh city resulted in death due to the war between Bhangarh and Ajabgarh, where ratnavali was assassinated.Due to these ghost myths, the Bhangarh Fort  closed entries for tourists or visitors before sunrise and after sunset.

What happens in Bhangarh Fort at night?

At nights, no one is allowed to enter the fort premises once the sun goes down. The govt. of  India placed a notice- "Visiting the fort before sunrise and after sunset is strictly prohibited and if rules are violated legal action would be taken".
There are some rumors that Spirit roam in Bhangarh Fort at night. Sometimes people often hear some weird sounds like screaming, crying voice of women and some bangles sound in the rooms of  Bhangarh Fort. And also, they reported that they heard the voice of someone's  talking. people have seen a ghostly shadow, strange lights, unusual sound of music coming out from the Bhangarh Fort.

2.) Highgate Cemetery - North London, England 




The cemetery opened in 1839  and it is designed by Stephen Geary. It is one of the Magnificent Seven cemeteries outside of London. During that time, church cemeteries were not able to bear with the number of dead people which needed burial. Many famous people buried there, such as Karl Marx, Douglas Adams, and the parents of Charle Dickens. But it is also long been known for ghosts, sinister activities, and other strange things including the Highgate Vampire. There are approx. 170,00 people buried in around 53,000 graves. This cemetery counted as the top haunted place in the world.

Stories of highgate cemetery: 


            The most famous spooky story of this cemetery is The Highgate Vampire, which is really a phantom but not a vampire. The phantom is described as a 7-ft-tall male figure with hypnotic eyes and wearing a long black coat. In one of the stories, a man's car broke down near the Highgate cemetery and he saw the ghoul with glowing horrible red eyes that peered at him through the graveyard's iron gates. The Highgate cemetery resulted in the dramatic drop in temperature, clocks to simultaneously stop, objects fly from shelves and even having a dramatic effect upon the animals in its vicinity and a floating ghost of a nun.
During the late 60's and early 70's, the cemetery is used as witchcraft practice which causes an unhappy spirit to roam. For the past 36 years, the visitors come up with the violent entity, leaving all kind of cuts and marks. some people were bashed and some were violently attacked. At last, the authority decided to close the Highgate cemetery.

3.) Screaming Tunnel - Niagara Falls, Ontario





This is the most dangerous haunted place you need to visit if you are a brave hearted guy.

Story of Screaming Tunnel:

This place is located just beneath the railway track that connects Niagara Falls to Toronto and New York. About a century ago, there was a farmhouse located near the south entrance of this tunnel. One horrible night the farm house caught with fire and a young girl quench in flame screaming for help running wild crawling for life. Nobody knows how the farm house caught fire. She ran towards tunnel for help but she didn't find anyone but alas she was burnt completely and collapsed and died with pain. So from that day onwards who ever tried to light a match stick or even try to burn something in the tunnel then, the spirit comes out haunting the person till dead.

4.) Island Of The Dolls(la Isla de las Muñecas)- Mexico City

                  Just south of Mexico City, between the canals of Xochimilco where you can find a small island with a sad past which is never intended to be a tourist place. The Island Of The Dolls is also known as "La Isla De Las Muñecas". This island is purely dedicated to the lost soul of a poor girl who met her fate too soon in tragical circumstances.This island is a home to hundreds of dolls. Their several limbs captivated heads.



Story Of Island Of The Dolls:

Locals said a man named Don Julian Santara Barrera was the care taker of that island. The story goes that Don Santara found a little girl drowned in strange circumstances while he was unable to save her life. After few days, Don saw a floating doll near the canals. He gave respect to the spirit of the girl by hanging the doll to a tree. Later he was haunted by the spirit of the girl and started hanging up more dolls in an attempt to please her spirit.


He then realized that the dolls themselves were possessed with the spirit of the girls, and continued to hang more creepy dolls  all over the island. After 50 years, Don was found dead at the same spot where the girl died. Many people taught that don has joined the other spirits of the island.


5.) Raynham Hall, Norfolk-England




The brown lady is a ghost which reportedly haunts Raynham Hall in Norfolk in England. The Brown Lady of Raynham Hall is one of the most famous hauntings in Britain. This is mainly down to the strange form captured by photographers from Country Life magazine in 1936. Before that event occurred the Brown Lady had been reported several times.

Story Of Brown Lady Of Raynham Hall:   

    It is said that Lady Townsend's husband, Charles Townsend, suspected his wife of being unfaithful and even though even is listed as having been buried in 1725 many people think that her death was faked. Despite, Lady Townsend was locked in a room till her death. Her husband never allowed her to even see her children. Later she passed away in 1726 from smallpox. Ever since she is thought to be haunting Raynham Hall.

Sightings: 

The first recorded sighting of Brown Lady was made at a gathering at Raynham Hall at Christmas in 1835. The next sighting was made in 1836 by captain Frederick Marryat. On September 19, 1936, two London-based photographers working for Country Life magazine were taking photographs of the staircase at Raynham Hall for an article to appear later in the year
